Enterprise Asset Management :

EAM is the acronym for Enterprise Asset Management (company equipment management). EAM refers to the management of the physical assets of an organization, such as buildings, the installations, infrastructure and other equipment, over their entire life cycle. EAM therefore covers design, construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance, replacement and destruction or demolition of all these assets. The term « Enterprise » in EAM means that we will look at the organization as a whole : all assets on all sites. L’Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) therefore encompasses all policies, the process, operating models, management and all aspects relating to the economy and sustainable development linked to these assets. Enterprise asset management software, or EAM software, will therefore be much richer and more complete than maintenance management software (and CMMS).
